Generally speaking I don’t really care for Bape clothing and accessories. I like the idea of them more then I actually like them. For some reason I have always leaned more towards Pharrell Williams’ BBC (Billionaire Boys Club) more, even though they are the same for the most part.
Also the shoe template that the Bape Sta shoes use is pretty much the Nike Air Force 1 Low, and the Nike Air Max, which I never thought was cool of Bape to do. However, when I saw these Bape Sta Tigers in a grey white colourway with the comic tiger on the heel I actually saw something in them worth appreciating. The metallic foil finish Road Sta’s are also pretty nice, especially the red and blue pairs.
Both of these shoes come courtesy of the Bape Fall 2009 Collection. The Bape Sta Tiger only comes in the grey/white colourway with tiger graphic on the back, whereas the Road Sta Foil comes in 6 different colourways. Both sneakers are available online or at the Bape stores.
