To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Japanese streetwear brand Bape and the 20th anniversary of their first collaboration, German athletic lifestyle brand adidas have again teamed up for a special collaboration. Launching with five products beginning in April, the two brands have only announced the first release, a subtle yet slick reworking of a navy blue Campus 80s.

The pair is made with a lovely suede upper and the Bape’s star logo alternating with Adidas’ 3-Stripes branding on the sides of the shoe. There is a 30th Anniversary logo stamp on the tongue, a gold lace buckle on the front of the lace bed, and each pair comes packaged in a custom-printed box.

The lowkey nature of these shoes is a nice touch for a Campus 80, especially as their main appeal, in our opinion, is the demure nature of the shoe with a subtle flex for those that know. You know?

The Bape x Adidas Campus 80 collab shoe will drop on April 1 at adidas.com, bape.com, and select stockists, with the remaining collaborative drops to follow in the months ahead.
