BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE is back with a new mini bag series launching this month. The instantly iconic bag is reimagined in teeny tiny form in three addictive new colours perfect for summer. Accompanied by a short film that plays with shifting scale and perception, a doll carries a small bag that begins to float, gradually expanding in size. As it grows, the surrounding city appear to shrink, transforming the environment into a miniature-like world where scale becomes unstable and reversible.

Drawing inspiration from doll-sized bags and the idea of accessories designed for tiny figures, translated into full-size pieces with exaggerated construction details like thicker handles, doubled hardware, and the signature triangular designed with three-dimensional volume.

The new design language pushes BAO BAO into a more playful, toy-like direction and continues to solidify the collection as a fashion insider must-have. Discover the film below.
