As you continue down the beach, you’ll find picturesque cliffs and a wide sandy shore to either wade in or take a dip. But heads up, in the spring and early summer, Portuguese man ‘o war tends to wash up on the south shore, so keep your eyes peeled before jumping in and getting a nasty sting.
Another favourite spot for mid-day relaxing is the heated Terrace Pool, found at the heart of the resort. There are plenty of loungers and umbrellas, where you can set up with a book and order a bite off the pool menu.
For dining, SURF is the hotel’s primary restaurant, designed as homage to the Surf Side Club that resided in its place for many years. The intimate dining space features an island-style Mediterranean menu, with plenty of mouthwatering seafood to choose from including local favourites like the iconic Bermudian fish sandwich, and classics like fried calamari and shrimp tacos. Be sure to leave room for dessert, as they don’t disappoint. The homemade gelato is incredibly decadent, as is the chocolate ganache cake.
