This week, Art Toronto finally returns for its 22nd edition with an in-person fair from October 29th – 31st at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and online from Oct 29th to Nov 7th via VR platform Artland.

This year, the fair features over 60 galleries from around the world and across Canada, from Vancouver to Fogo Island. What’s unique about this year is that 22 galleries are showcasing work from Indigenous artists, with 5 galleries representing Indigenous work exclusively. That means over 1/3 of Art Toronto will showcase Indigenous art.

Some other new additions this year include interior spaces designed by Future Studio as well as an online programming series called PLATFORM that will host curators from the MOMA, MET, and New Museum as they discuss contemporary issues such as the decolonization of museums.
