To celebrate and usher in the launch of Nike’s newest Air Max silhouette, the VaporMax on March 26th, NikeLab has taken over a sizeable piece of real-estate at Hong Kong’s third edition of Art Central. The Vision Airs installation highlights the rebirth of Nike Air technology that transformed the industry and established Nike as a leading innovation company. We’re talking about that exposed sole in the original 1986 Air Max.
In The Vision Airs, NikeLab collaborated with six emerging international designers including Jourden, Feng Chen Wang, Wanbing Huang, Collective, h0nh1m, and Laurent Segretier, inspired by the new Nike Air VaporMax technology to explore the future possibilities of air through art.
The space is stark, minimal, and artistically driven, fitting in perfectly with the high commerce art buying world around it.
If you’re in Hong Kong be sure to drop by the space and take a closer look below.
