It’s Arcade Fire season kids. Get into it or get out.
The Montreal hit indie act turned Grammy Award winning stadium babes are returning in less than a month with their new album, titled Everything Now, and they’ve already shared some infectious singles. First there was the Daft Punk-y reflection on consumerism and the current state of social media “Everything Now“ and then the sugary trippy cereal anthem “Creature Comfort“.
Now, the mainstream art punks have dropped a third new video for a brand new song off their upcoming album. Titled “Signs of Life,” the track is a smooth yet funky one and the video is fit to match, featuring an attractive couple of special agents in love enjoying a day of cultural activities, espionage and alien watching/discovering. The video was directed by Miami-based film/art collective Borscht who shot the footage on 16mm film earlier this past month in Miami. Think X-Files meets Wes Anderson but Arcade Fire. Aren’t we all just looking for that human and/or extraterrestrial connection?
Watch Arcade Fire’s video and give “Signs of Life” a listen above.
