Legendary fashion maniac and Fashion Director (currently at Vogue Japan) Anna Dello Russo has teamed up with H&M for the Autumn 2012 season to design a collection of accessories they’re calling “over-the-top.” Judging by the few photos we’ve seen, we think they’re just plain bad ass and can’t wait to snag a few pieces when they hit stores smack dab in the middle of show season on October 4th.
Drawing inspiration from her furniture and vast wardrobe, or as she calls it her “fashion alphabet” at her home in Milan, the collection will feature shoes, bags, jewelry, sunglasses, and a carry-on.
Dello Russo had this to say about the collaboration:
“I am excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M has involved a fashion director in a special project. This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist, I know accessorization is essential; it is the personal touch in any outfit. With these pieces, everybody can have fun, and turn an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day.”
