Passionate fans jumped around to the ambient tunes of Animal Collective, who was the actual headliner of day two of Governors Ball Music Festival to those who didn’t bother to stick around for Guns N’ Roses. It was our first time seeing the Baltimore experimental psych band and their complex stage set up impressed and created that funky weird mood we’ve come to expect from them. Avey Tare sat surrounded by on all sides by various decks and keyboards and as we pushed through the crowd to snag a photo, crazy insane fans threatened our mess us up. Luckily we made it out alive.
