Animal Collective have just announced The Painters EP, a new companion release to last year’s album Painting With.
The EP contains three new and original tracks recorded during the Painting With era, and also includes a studio recording of “Jimmy Mack” (made famous by Martha & The Vandellas), a cover performed on their recent tours. The EP features artwork by Brian DeGraw, who supplied the original portraits and artwork for Painting With.
