Coinciding with his XXL Freshman distinction earlier this week, Aminé has shared a brand new track today, titled “Turf,” along with an accompanying live rendition.
On the song, legendary R&B singer Charlie Wilson lends his incredible voice to the outro for the emerging Portland born-and-bred artist. The two of them make an appearance in the song’s Micah Bickham-directed video, which simply shows them performing inside a grocery store. “Turf” is Aminé’s ode to his hometown and his upbringing.
