Alessia Cara shared a new song called “Wild Things” from her forthcoming debut album Know-It-All. Like “Here,” this new track is about being an outsider, marching to the beat of your own drum, and not needing approval from the cool kids. We sense a theme and we’re totally behind it. When Cara sings “We make our own rules, our own room, no bias here,” it’s a rallying cry for those who just want to do their own thing. She joins a long list of musicians who’ve made reference to Maurice Sendak’s “Where The Wild Things Are.” Listen to “Wild Things” above.
Leave us alone cuz we don’t need your policies / We have no apologies for bein’
