Aimé Leon Dore has long woven music into the fabric of what the New York-based brand stands for, and their latest Live at 214 installment keeps that tradition alive. Live at 214 is an extension of the brand’s SOUND series, a program designed to celebrate the musicians who have inspired the label by presenting intimate, unfiltered performances filmed inside the flagship space on Mulberry Street in New York City.
The newest session features Roc Marciano, performing tracks from his recent work alongside selections that span his career. The setting is focused and immediate, underscoring how live performance and curated sound are central to Aimé Leon Dore’s cultural approach.
Live at 214 first launched with Raekwon, an artist whose influence resonates with the brand’s DNA. For the Fall/Winter 2025 session, Raekwon was joined by DJ Statik Selektah, drummer Cinque Kemp, and bassist Joshua Crumbly for an energetic, roughly 20-minute set captured in the same Mulberry Street room.
This music focus extends beyond live performances. Aimé Leon Dore also curates the 214 Mulberry mix series, a series of DJ sets and playlists covering classic hip-hop, modern hip-hop, soul, R&B, with mixtapes reaching well into double digits. These are always in heavy rotation on our speakers.
Other artists who have appeared in the Live at 214 and SOUND programs include Large Professor on vinyl selections and a range of DJs featured in the broader mix series.
What comes through in these projects is a consistent thread: music is not an accessory to the clothes, it is part of the label’s New York ethos. Whether through live sets or carefully curated mixes, Aimé Leon Dore continues to spotlight the sounds that shape its identity
