Our favourite shoe designer and man about town Jake Davis recently directed an editorial of Boast for GQ with L.A. based photographer Nicholas Maggio and featuring the beautiful Adrianne Ho. Hand picking select pieces from the Boast Spring/Summer ’13 collection, the visual the narrative explores NYC native Ho’s adaptation in her lifestyle to the SoCal Summer. With Hermès silk do-rag, vintage leather tennis bag, Turkish towel, Nike Running shoes, the editorial sheds examines how life imitates art and art imitates life through Ho’s real life story. It’s an interesting approach to take, and one that really does work here. Perhaps it is because this is what has actually taken place for Adrianne Ho. Take a look at the whole editorial below.
