adidas has announced their latest collaboration with skateboard deck company, Welcome Skateboards. Together they are releasing a limited edition capsule collection featuring an adidas CLIMALITE® soccer jersey and customized Adi-Ease ADV vulcanized shoe.
The capsule showcases Welcome’s progressive artistry, with the sneaker featuring a distinct coffin-shaped tongue on the iconic Skate silhouette. The sneaker has been specially redesigned for this collaboration, and includes a “mist stone” suede upper with accents of light aqua along the sole and insole.
The other feature of the capsule is a custom version of the CLIMALITE,® sweat-wicking jersey designed by Welcome Skateboards. This takes the classic adidas sport-heritage style and adds Welcome’s custom colours and occult inspired art to create a truly unique jersey.
The adidas x Welcome Skateboards A-LEAGUE capsule is available now at select specialty skate retailers, and will be available at adidas Skateboarding online store beginning September 1st.
