adidas Skateboarding has unveiled its highly anticipated capsule collection by renowned artist David M. Cook, otherwise known as Bonethrower.
The limited edition footwear and apparel collection channels Bonethrower’s background in psychedelic art, skateboarding, and DIY culture.
About the collection, he said:
“The inspiration behind this collaboration was to try and best combine the world of adidas skateboarding with the one I created with YOD. The wizards and warriors of YOD are from a world where everyday is a battle for survival and it’s a struggle to get to the end of the day to grab a cold one at the bar with your friends.”
The adidas Skateboarding x Bonethrower collection includes a customized Matchcourt shoe that features his artwork including his signature spider graphic and embroidered cross bones, a track jacket, a snapback hat made from sturdy cotton twill, as well as a T-shirt and a longsleeve tee.
The limited edition adidas Skateboarding x Bonethrower collection will be available at select adidas retailers in the U.S. and online at adidas.com/us/skateboarding as of August 5.
