Acne Studios has collaborated with artist Jack Pierson on a small leather goods capsule. Five pieces from a 1994 catalogue of one of Pierson’s solo exhibitions were debossed onto 100 lamb leather pouches in various colours including black, white and electric blue. Acne also produced 100 second editions of the catalogue, entitled “Caught in the Rain Broken in the Stardust,” which will also include a numbered certificate of approval signed by Pierson himself; the catalogue will be included with each pouch purchase. Pierson is known for his work across various mediums but is perhaps most famous for his letter-based sculptures. His work is featured in many major art museums including the LACMA, the MoMA and the Whitney.
