It’s that time of the again when everyone’s favourite Canadian rap label, October’s Very Own (OVO), teams up with Canada’s premier outerwear brand Canada Goose annual winter collection. The two Toronto-born success stories continue their successful partnership for the eighth time, designing a collection perfect for the urban adventurer.

This collection is the first time the brands of partnered on a complete assortment of cold-weather accessories including shearling pilot hats, merino wool toques and scarves, with the (far from) standard two parkas, one for men and one for women.

Once again the OVO team has chosen Canada Goose’s iconic Chilliwack Bomber for the coat, but unlike previous years has added eye-catching colour in the form of a “pink dawn” and “steel grey” colourways over a refined satin fabric. Featuring gold hardware and zippers on both bombers, the pink dawn coat features October’s Very Own tonally embroidered in script on the back and front left chest. On the steel grey coat the OVO is located on the right shoulder above the Canada Goose classic disc and on a grab strap on the back.

In line with the aviation theme of the bomber jacket, the Shearling Pilot Hat is also available in matching pink dawn and steel grey and features (as the name would suggest) a front shearling section that can be dropped for further protection. Because you don’t always want to look like you are about to take off in a 1945 fighter plane, the collection also features a OVO print Boreal Beanie and an Owl Logo Blanket Scarf, both of which are made in Italy from 100 per cent merino wool. Both the beanie scarf are available in sterling heather and black colourways.

The limited-edition capsule collection is available for sale at Canada Goose retail locations at Yorkdale Mall in Toronto and CF Chinook Centre in Calgary, online at CanadaGoose.com, at OVO retail stores in Toronto, New York and Los Angeles and online at octobersveryown.com on December 8th.
