Today Converse unveiled the first detailed look at their much hyped new One Star x Golf le Fleur collection made in collaboration with Tyler, the Creator. Taking queues from the One Stars long and storied history both in basketball and their unexpected prominence in the skate scene, the Golf le Fleur is designed to be the perfect intersection between cultural reference points.
Made with premium suede and coming in four unique colourways, the new One Star x Golf le Fleur silhouette features detailing worthy of the young rap moguls name. Featuring a flower in contrast stitching surrounding the iconic star on the side, a pretty accurate embroidered bee logo designed and drawn by Tyler on heel stay, a debossed tonal Golf le Fleur logo on the shoe’s tongue, a uniquely illustrated sock liner and a special mantra printed on the shoe’s inner and outer sole reading, “Don’t let ‘em kill your flowers, water your garden and stunt.”
Tyler, the Creator and Converse will release the One Star x Golf le Fleur collection on August 3rd in Airway Blue, Peach Pearl, Sulphur, and Fuschia Glow colourways and will features interchangeable set of tonal laces.
The new One Star x Golf le Fleur collection launches exclusively at Livestock and Converse.ca on Thursday, August 3, 2017. The sneakers will retail for a suggested price of $130.00 CAD.
