With the imminent release of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘The 6’ sneaker tomorrow, December 6th in Toronto, we bring you a closer look at the new limited edition shoe.
Celebrating the uniqueness of Toronto, the sneaker features Northern Lights inspired sock liners with the iconic CN Tower printed on it, a compass with a red North on the back and a red maple leaf on the tongue. Despite the abundance of white all over the shoe, The 6 sneaker features rubberized coating on the all-white outsole as well as a covered airbag which has been used to prevent cracking and is actually a first for the Air Max’s. Made from Tech Tough coated leather, buck leather, technical woven textiles and waxed laces, all of which are exclusive to this release and designed for the Canadian winter.
‘The 6’ Air Max 1 officially drops tomorrow, December 6th at Nike’s online store as well as select Nike Sportswear retailers throughout the Toronto area, and on December 17th at select US retailers. In the meantime take a closer look at the sneaker below.
