The iPhone 12 Mini, is just as its name would suggest, a mini little iPhone, smaller than most of the high-end phones on the market. However, size only matters in aesthetics, as the Mini features the same processor, same cameras, same design, same everything as the other iPhone 12’s but with a compact 5.4-inch display. Thanks to the bezel-less design, the 12 Mini is physically smaller than the previous reigning champ of small, the SE. However, as compared to the SE the Mini gives you much more screen real estate, with the iOS scaling well to the 5.4-inch display, and the iPhone 12 design looks and feels just as nice on the slightly more compact version as it does on the full-sized models

While compared to it’s release date counterpart, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the two phones are night and day side by side. It also wouldn’t be fair to compare the two as they are designed for two different users, IMO. While the 12 Pro Max is for the on the go multimedia creator, the 12 Mini, is designed for the size-conscious, web-based service user.

Listening to music from the cloud, using social media, taking pics to send to friends and family, etc. The Mini still comes with dual 12MP Ultra Wide and Wide cameras with Night mode, 12MP TrueDepth camera, 6.1″ all-screen OLED display with Ceramic Shield and longer battery life. It’s no slouch by any means. Here are some pictures taken on the little palm-sized device:

While the 12 mini is Apple’s lowest-priced new iPhone 12, it is still a pretty penny. Starting off at $979 CAD for 64GB and going to $1189 CAD for the 256GB. Costing more than the SE which is what it is comparable to sizewise. HOWEVER, keep in mind that it is still a 12 model, and all the 12’s feature the A14 Bionic chip, 5G tech, and a Dolby vision enabled camera and fits nicely in the palm of your hand.
