Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a robot? Well it seems that acclaimed director Spike Jonze has, with his new short film “I’m Here.” This film, which could have easily been called the secret life of robots premiered at Sundance last week to much acclaim. The 35-minute film follows the life of 2 robots in a futuristic fable rooted in the universal emotions of first love, ruminating on youth, identity, autonomy and loss.” The film looks melancholy and real, intense and lighthearted, is it perhaps an allegory for something. Either way it is sure to be a hit.
