Following CMJ we were kind of overwhelmed with new music to listen to, and like the true music parasites we are, we’ve pushed through some amazing tunes and are hungry for more. Enter, Night Works, the new project from pop genius Gabriel Stebbing, formally of Metronomy and Your Twenties.
Basically we haven’t been able to get “Modern Romance” out of our head since we heard it and he’s just dropped two brand new tracks in the same theme from the forthcoming album by the same name set to drop on November 12th via Loose Lips. If you haven’t seen the video for “Modern Romance”, you should definitely watch it, and then go ahead and listen to two more tracks “9.09pm in Paris ft. Zooey” and “9.09 AM in Berlin” below.
While we love and adore similar synth-laden artists like Hot Chip and Holy Ghost!, there’s no denying Night Works have a certain freshness that goes down easy and sticks with you. Let’s be honest, don’t we all just want good music to dance to?
