Always fresh French contemporary brand A.P.C has commissioned Italian sunglass brand L.G.R to re-create a 1960s-inspired collection of eyewear for their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Handmade in Italy, the frame is made from 8mm cellulose acetate in a rich chestnut-brown colour. L.G.R. hand polish each frame to give it an unparalleled finish, while strong hinges provide both a comfortable fit and durability. The L.G.R. and A.P.C. logos feature on the inside of the arms in gold, as does the number of each individual piece.
The sunglasses are fitted with Barberini anti-reflect photochromic lenses, which offer 100% UV and infra-red protection. The tempered mineral glass offers excellent clarity, but is also scratch and impact resistant, due to a chemical hardening process that makes use of acid salts and liquid hydrogen. The glasses come with a soft leather case, branded with the A.P.C. logo and a dual-branded cleaning cloth.
