Opting to flee the busy tents of World Master Card Fashion week in Toronto, New York-based brand JUMA presented their fall winter collection of scarves lining the walls of the Edward Day Gallery.
The 2012 ready-to-wear collection showed during New York Fashion Week back in February along with other Canadian brands like CALLA and Jeremy Laing, the scarves showed as at themselves along with parts of Shayne Dark’s Forged Landscape exhibition, also on view at the gallery.
Past collections have centered on nature, animals, with geometric knits, and this season they’ve expanded those themes to reach more exotic natural elements like bewitching rolling mountains, sketched out hawks, vibrant toucans, orchids, lotus flowers, vibrant animal print, and pixelated matrix looking things.
