Washed Out aka Atlanta’s own Ernest Greene will be releasing his first full length LP Within and Without on July 12th via Sub Pop Records. The album was recorded with Ben Allen, best known for co-producing Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavillion, Gnarls Barkley’s St. Elsewhere and Deerhunter’s Halcyon Digest.
In celebration for the highly anticipated release the Sub Pop Limited Edition Colored Vinyl Department, Seattle Branch will be issuing Within and Without in an assortment of coloured vinyl. If you buy the record at your local music shop, you’ll get either white or light blue vinyl. Apparently there is more white than blue, and absolutely no black. However, if you pre-order from Sub Pop Records you’ll receive a limited edition T-Shirt from T-shirts Co. of Seattle, WA, the Within and Without album in the rarer light blue vinyl and a limited 7″ single of “Belong” b/w “Phone Call” on clear vinyl. Both “Belong” and “Phone Call” are from Washed Out’s 2009 EP High Times and this is the first time they are on vinyl format. Oh and only 700 of the clear records were pressed.
Download the new single “Amor Fati” below, check out the T-Shirt then watch the brand new teaser trailer for Within and Without here. Yeup! We are super excited. Enjoy.
