Well it’s a bit old news since the Royal Wedding was early this morning at 4am, but we couldn’t help but share news of her ever so secretive dress with you dear readers.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, kept her dress under lock and key until hours ago when she walked down the aisle in the rumoured Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress. Though a bit traditional in design for McQueen, the dress was made from hand cut English lace, French Lace from Chantilly, as well as ivory and while satin gazar, with padding on the hips to make the silhouette curved.
Middleton worked closely with Burton on the design of the dress to make certain the English traditions and the brands signature feel were present in the dress. To top it all off she wore a vintage Cartier tiara under her simple ivory silk tulle veil.
Take a look at some of the shots of her dress below. What do you think of it?
