Back in the day I rocked Lil Wayne’s Tha Carta like it was prophetic, and in many ways it was! I remember saying to all my boys “I know Lil Wayne and Cash Money are wack, but you gotta listen to this album! If he keeps it up, he’s going to run hip hop.” Fast forward about 6-7 years and Lil Wayne is gearing up to drop Tha Carta IV, and by all accounts it looks like it will continue his bide for world domination.
Yesterday the lil rapper dropped a brand new track “If I Die Today,” a reworked version of Rick Ross’ album cut “I’m Not a Star” from last years Teflon Don album. The track is produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and is a certified banger! Give it a listen below, oh and many apologizes as it is a clean version of the track. Enjoy.
