We all knew Canadian designer dude Philip Sparks could make amazing tailored clothes for guys (he proved it immediately when he broke onto the scene a few years back) but this year during his Spring 2011 show, he introduced something the Toronto fashion industry rarely sees: a rather lovely array of creations for ladies.
While there are a plethora of designers in this city, unfortunately most of them lack wearability in their attempt to design clothes for women by focusing too much an intense visual impact during their shows and within the collections. Like Sparks clothes for men, the ladies pieces are expertly tailored in construction and understated with a vintage feel.
This collection is exactly what we’ve all been waiting for. Check out the pieces from the Spring 2011 collection for guys and girls.
