For his Spring/Summer 2027 collection at DVF, Henry Zankov is looking to one of Diane von Furstenberg’s original ideas: body language. Drawing on the designer’s belief that clothes should work with the body, Zankov explores how fashion can reveal, move and communicate without trying too hard.
The collection is built around long, fluid silhouettes, bold colour blocking and a mix of jersey, chiffon and bias-cut silks. Scarves are worked into the looks, tailoring feels deliberately undone, and archival animal prints return in new shapes. There is also a focus on how clothes reveal the body, with glimpses of skin coming through natural movement rather than overtly revealing cuts.
Describing the collection as clothes that “seduce on their own terms,” Zankov brings a relaxed confidence to the DVF wardrobe. It is a collection about dressing for yourself, with movement, personality and a little rebellion at its centre.
