Louis Vuitton is taking its fragrance bottles into collectible design territory with two exceptional editions of its iconic flacon. Created in collaboration with Australian industrial designer Marc Newson, the sculptural objects pair the House’s signature design language with the centuries-old crystal-making expertise of Baccarat.
Each flacon is crafted from hand-blown crystal, finished with a black crystal cap detailed in hand-painted gold enamel. The result is a study in material and form, where the bottle becomes as much a design statement as a vessel for fragrance.
The two editions offer distinct interpretations of the Louis Vuitton universe. LV Lovers channels the spirit of the House’s dandy, balancing effortless elegance with an eye for detail. The eLVes Flacon d’Exception takes a more decorative approach, drawing on the Monogram flowers in four shades associated with La Beauté Louis Vuitton: Rouge Louis, Monogram Rouge, Rose Eugénie and Beige Machina.
Together, the creations reflect Louis Vuitton’s ongoing interest in the intersection of travel, craftsmanship and design. More than a finishing touch to a fragrance, each flacon is conceived as a collectible object in its own right.
