BMW is bringing superbike energy to a smaller platform with the reveal of the 2027 F 450 RR, a new sportbike that introduces premium aerodynamic design and WorldSBK-inspired styling. With integrated fairing wing elements and an aggressive silhouette, the motorcycle delivers the kind of race-bred visual language usually reserved for much larger machines.
Superbike aerodynamics have traditionally been reserved for race-focused motorcycles, but BMW is bringing that technology to the street. The F 450 RR is powered by a 420 cc parallel twin engine with a 135-degree crank offset, producing 48 horsepower at 8,750 rpm and 32 pound-feet of torque at 6,750 rpm. Riders can also opt for BMW’s Easy Ride Clutch system, which removes the need for traditional manual clutch operation.

The sportbike features a performance-focused chassis with 5.5 inches of suspension travel at both ends, Brembo front brakes and ByBre rear hardware. Its fairing design takes direct inspiration from WorldSBK machines, giving the F 450 RR the stance and presence of a full-size superbike in a more compact package.
For the US market, the F 450 RR arrives in M Sport trim as standard, equipped with fully adjustable KYB suspension, lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, heated grips, USB-C connectivity and a 6.5-inch TFT display. Priced at $7,815 USD (starting at $9,645 CAD in Canada), BMW’s latest sportbike delivers race-inspired aerodynamics and modern electronics to a new generation of riders.
