If Nicolas Ghesquière’s Louis Vuitton woman is designed to move, her beauty look is designed to catch the light. For Spring/Summer 2027, Dame Pat McGrath keeps the focus on fresh, luminous skin, creating a beauty look that feels as light and instinctive as the collection’s fluid silhouettes.
“Above all, I wanted the skin to be glowing and the girls to be very fresh and beautiful,” says McGrath, whose approach centres on enhancing rather than masking the face. Light and natural radiance become the defining features, with subtle sculpting adding dimension without disrupting the effortless effect.
The look pairs LV Baume in 020 Rose Essentiel with LV Rouge in 201 Spell On You, used as blush to bring warmth and luminosity to the cheeks, while LV Baume in 000 Infinite Dreamer enhances the lips’ natural sheen. Around the eyes, LV Ombres in 150 Beige Memento and 250 Nude Mirage create soft definition, using shadow to subtly reshape the contours of the face and accentuate the cheekbones.
The result is polished but deliberately unfussy: glowing skin, softly sculpted features and just enough colour to make the face come alive. In a collection built around clothes that move with the body, McGrath’s beauty completes the idea by letting the skin do the talking.
