Louis Vuitton is bringing its Savoir Faire exhibition to Toronto, transforming its Bloor Street Maison into a showcase of the House’s craftsmanship from September 24 through October 4. The immersive presentation brings together some of Louis Vuitton’s most exceptional creations, including several pieces making their Canadian debut.
Women’s and men’s ready-to-wear sit alongside iconic hard-sided trunks, Objets Nomades, fine watches, high jewelry, and one-of-a-kind leather goods, offering a closer look at the craftsmanship that has defined the French House since 1854.
Among the highlights is Estúdio Campana’s one-of-one Cocoon Couture Curupira, an exclusive take on the designer’s iconic Cocoon chair embroidered with enamelled stones and sequins inspired by the legendary protector of Brazil’s forests. The Art of Dining Dolce Vita collection gives the Monogram flower a fresh spin, while the Animali Fantastici tableware pays tribute to Italian artist Fortunato Depero. High jewelry standouts include the Galaxie Sautoir necklace, LV Colour Emerald earrings, and pieces from the Idylle Blossom collection.
The trunk lineup is equally impressive. The Malle Vin, designed for wine tastings, and the Courrier Lozine 110 Monogram Asnières Bloom, inspired by the stained-glass windows of the Vuitton family home in Asnières-sur-Seine, are both making their Canadian debut. They’re joined by the Lipstick Trunk, the Malle Horlogère, and the Nano Set Mother of Pearl collection, which presents four embellished Nano Capucines inside a signature Monogram trunk.
Open through October 4, Savoir Faire Toronto offers a rare chance to see some of Louis Vuitton’s most intricate creations up close, many of which aren’t typically available to view in Canada.
