ARC’TERYX and BEAMS are continuing one of our favourite long-running collaborations with the Fall/Winter 2026 “KOYO” collection, celebrating 25 years of partnership between the two brands alongside BEAMS’ 50th anniversary.
What has always made this collaboration stand out is the way BEAMS approaches colour. Instead of simply matching tones, the partnership plays with unexpected combinations and colour palette mismatches that give ARC’TERYX silhouettes a distinct identity. For FW26, that approach comes through with ARC’TERYX’s signature BLAZE and 24K tones combined with BEAMS’ corporate orange in a bold pattern arrangement inspired by koyo, the changing colours of Japanese autumn foliage.
The centrepiece of the six-piece collection is the THETA AR Jacket, featuring archive-inspired details from the original 1998 silhouette. The THETA AR has consistently been one of the standout pieces in the collaboration, and this season continues the tradition of using a classic ARC’TERYX design as the canvas for BEAMS’ unconventional colour treatment.
The collection also includes the Gamma Jacket, marking BEAMS’ first bespoke take on the model, as well as the newly developed JOGEN Pants cargo trousers. Rounding out the release are the Gamma 5 Panel Cap, the Kragg Cotton LS Shirt featuring historical collaboration graphics, and the Konseal 15 Backpack with orange zipper pulls.
The appeal of the ARC’TERYX and BEAMS partnership has always been its ability to approach technical pieces from a different perspective. It is the same reason I still reach for my BEAMS jeans, which I have worn at least once a week for years. They are cool because they feel unconventional, and that same attitude carries through the colour choices and patterns that define collaborations like this one.
Alongside the release, ARC’TERYX and BEAMS will host the “NOW / THEN” archival exhibition with pop-ups in New York and Japan, highlighting the history of their partnership.
The ARC’TERYX x BEAMS Fall/Winter 2026 “KOYO” collection launches globally on September 25, 2026, through BEAMS Harajuku and select ARC’TERYX brand stores in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and China.
