ASICS has linked up with New York-based lifestyle and homeware brand Gohar World for a distinctive take on the new GEL DS TRAINER SP. Marking Gohar World’s first sneaker collaboration, the limited-edition release combines the look of a mid-2000s running spike with the shape of a ballet flat, giving the performance silhouette an entirely new direction.
Built with a black mesh and synthetic upper, the sneaker stands out through a series of hand-applied embellishments that reflect Gohar World’s signature style. Bespoke charms include a Chicken Foot Pearl, Potato Pearl, Baroque Pearl, and a round Black Onyx stone. Stainless steel rings and a silver-plated copper Gohar Bean logo add another layer of detail, while black and bright orange lace options let wearers switch up the look.
Despite its fashion-forward approach, the GEL DS TRAINER SP retains the performance features ASICS is known for, including its TRUSSTIC support unit and rearfoot GEL cushioning for everyday comfort.
