Gracie Abrams is the newest face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle, fronting the house’s latest fragrance release, Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu. The appointment places the singer-songwriter at the centre of a new campaign for the first new addition to the iconic fragrance line in six years.

Directed by filmmaker Joe Wright, the campaign brings Abrams into the Coco Mademoiselle universe through a cinematic story set in Paris, capturing the energy and spontaneity associated with Crush Absolu.

Created by Chanel In-House Perfumer-Creator Olivier Polge, Crush Absolu is an ambery interpretation of Coco Mademoiselle. Lychee and grapefruit brighten the opening, followed by rose and jasmine, while patchouli, vanilla-toned amber and vetiver give the fragrance a deeper, warmer finish.

The new fragrance also introduces a more intense visual identity to the Coco Mademoiselle bottle, with a deeper pink-beige hue, black label and gold detailing.

For Chanel, Abrams represents a new generation of the Coco Mademoiselle woman: contemporary, independent and magnetic. She joins a lineage of notable faces associated with the fragrance, including Keira Knightley and Whitney Peak.
