Ronnie Fieg is marking Kith’s 15th anniversary loud by turning to BMW’s archive, bringing two iconic grand tourers back to life in the unmistakable shade of Inka Orange which was first introduced in 1971 and closely linked to the marque’s early performance cars.
Entering their fourth chapter of their ongoing partnership, this time the collaboration extends well beyond apparel with two one-of-one BMW restorations: a 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi and a 1987 BMW M6 E24 designed by Ronnie Fieg.
Inka Orange has become the defining thread of the project, connecting two cars separated by 15 years while reinforcing Fieg’s longstanding interest in automotive heritage.
The 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi received a complete restoration, with the car stripped back and rebuilt using original components sourced through BMW’s archives. Under the hood sits the M30 Big Six engine, while the suspension and other mechanical components have been rebuilt. Inside, restored wood trim and period instrumentation are paired with a custom caramel leather interior finished with Kith’s signature monogram embossing.
The 1987 BMW M6 E24 offers a later interpretation of BMW’s grand touring legacy. Its rotisserie restoration brought the body back to bare metal before it was refinished in the same Inka Orange. The car retains its S38 inline-six engine, Getrag five-speed manual transmission and OEM BBS Style 5 wheels, while the interior echoes the 3.0 CSi with caramel leather and monogram detailing.
Together, the two cars form the centrepiece of Kith for BMW Chapter IV, with their design language extending into a wider collection of apparel and accessories.
The Kith for BMW 2026 collection is set to launch globally on August 17th through Kith stores, the Kith website and the Kith App, bringing Fieg’s latest interpretation of BMW heritage to a new generation of enthusiasts.
