Louis Vuitton is bringing its legendary trunk game to football’s biggest stage. The House has been named an Official Supplier and Branded Licensee of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and has unveiled the official Trophy Trunk built to carry the most iconic prize in the sport.
Created by Louis Vuitton artisans in the historic Asnières-sur-Seine workshops outside Paris, the bespoke trunk blends classic LV craftsmanship with football history. The piece is wrapped in Monogram canvas, finished with a hand-painted golden “V” for Victory and Vuitton, and detailed with the same signature hardware that has defined Louis Vuitton trunks since the 1860s.
The Trophy Trunk will make its debut during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ final, when it arrives on the pitch alongside Louis Vuitton Ambassadors and a FIFA legend. It continues a tradition that began in 2010, with Louis Vuitton previously creating Trophy Trunks for World Cup finals in South Africa, Brazil, Russia and Qatar.
To mark the occasion, Louis Vuitton is also releasing a limited-edition collection of three trunks inspired by the Trophy Trunk design. The Coffret 8 Montres, Cotteville 16 Montres and Malle Courrier Lozine 110 feature Monogram canvas, FIFA World Cup Trophy artwork, the signature golden “V” and the option for personalized initials.
With “Victory travels in Louis Vuitton” as the guiding idea, the collaboration brings together two worlds built around legacy, precision and the pursuit of excellence. Football’s biggest trophy now has a travel case worthy of the moment.
