RIMOWA is expanding its Original collection with a stunning new Ink Blue, a rich permanent colourway inspired by the enduring history of putting pen to paper. Joining the Maison’s lineup of anodized aluminium finishes, the deep midnight hue debuts across its signature luggage collection alongside a range of leather goods, travel accessories and everyday essentials.
The new finish is achieved using RIMOWA’s proprietary anodisation process, bonding pigment directly to the aluminium to create a uniform metallic sheen across the Original Cabin, Check-In L and Trunk Plus, with matching hardware.
As always they feature TSA-approved locks, the brand’s Multiwheel system and a stage-free telescopic handle, along with an updated ergonomic handle with a damper mechanism for quieter operation, as well as redesigned Flex Dividers with integrated zippered pockets for improved organization. As with every suitcase, each piece is backed by RIMOWA’s unconditional lifetime guarantee.
Beyond luggage, the colourway extends into the Groove collection with Italian-made calf leather cross-body bags in two sizes and an anodised aluminium card holder.
Rounding out the launch is a selection of denim travel accessories, including packing cubes, a trifold toiletry pouch and RIMOWA’s first reversible bucket hat complete with its own travel pouch.
