To mark 130 years of its iconic Monogram, Louis Vuitton is introducing Monogram Emblème, a new jacquard canvas that reimagines one of the House’s most recognizable signatures. Set to debut in June 2026, the tactile material draws inspiration from the original cotton canvases that once covered Louis Vuitton travel trunks, bringing a fresh perspective to a longstanding emblem.

Monogram Emblème combines GOTS-certified cotton and linen fibres to create a distinctive textured finish that nods to the House’s heritage while embracing modern craftsmanship. Durable and water repellent, the new jacquard features a denser pattern designed to evoke the look of embroidery, adding depth and dimension to the familiar motif.

The canvas will be offered in a range of colours sourced from the Vuittonnier, Louis Vuitton’s signature colour library. Its rich texture is enhanced through deep tones created using five differently coloured threads. Arriving in stores on June 5 as part of the Pre-Fall 2026 collection, the first release introduces Peuplier, inspired by the wooden structure of Louis Vuitton trunks, and Rose Ruban, a reference to the ribbon detailing found on historic trunk designs.

More colours are set to follow in September 2026 with the arrival of Monogram Bleu, drawn from a colour register dating back to the 1930s, and Vert Jura, inspired by the flora of Louis Vuitton’s native region.

Monogram Emblème will appear across some of Louis Vuitton’s most iconic silhouettes, including the Alma, Neverfull, Speedy, Noé and Keepall. The new canvas also extends to the Side Trunk, a style that reflects the House’s roots in luggage-making. Beyond handbags, the motif will feature on small leather goods, shoes and accessories, further highlighting the versatility of Louis Vuitton’s latest interpretation of the Monogram.
