Bottega Veneta has officially unveiled its Fall 2026 campaign, shot in Venice by British photographer Chris Rhodes under the direction of Louise Trotter. This season steps away from traditional fashion gloss and into something more restrained, trading postcard views for a closer, more personal take on the city.
Rhodes captures the collection in intimate interiors, using faded vintage wallpaper and terrazzo flooring as textured backdrops. The settings feel lived-in and familiar, which puts the focus exactly where it belongs: on the craftsmanship. Trotter’s direction keeps things tight, letting the materials and construction carry the weight without distraction.
There is a steady push and pull throughout the imagery, moving between private and metropolitan, analogue and digital, day and night. Venice comes through as layered and current rather than romanticized, giving the collection a grounded context that feels considered but not overworked.
Accessories anchor the story. The Madison shoulder bag returns with the house’s signature Intrecciato weave, nodding to Bottega Veneta’s origins. Familiar shapes like the Barbara tote and the Veneta bag are updated with richer tones and refined finishes, continuing Trotter’s subtle evolution of the brand’s core pieces.
By keeping everything close and controlled, the campaign lets the details speak for themselves. It is a clear reminder that Bottega Veneta’s strength has always been in the craft, and here it lands without needing to say too much.
