UNIQLO announced a new collaboration with Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen, marking the brand’s first project with the Copenhagen-based label. Titled “Shapes of Poetry,” the Spring/Summer 2026 collection brings Bahnsen’s signature approach to femininity into the framework of UNIQLO’s everyday LifeWear and we could not be more excited for this playful collaboration.
Known for her balance of softness and structure, Bahnsen applies familiar elements here, including floral motifs, volume, and light detailing, across a range of dresses, tops, and skirts. The pieces are designed to work both as standalone items and coordinated sets, with an emphasis on wearability true to UNIQLO form.
Materials and comfort remain central. The collection uses cotton and stretch fabrics to align with UNIQLO’s focus on function, while maintaining the visual identity of Bahnsen’s mainline work. A notable addition is a girls’ line, developed as an extension of the adult collection reflecting similar shapes and design details, with practical updates like adjustable waists and added pockets.
UNIQLO’s R&D lead Yukihiro Katsuta first met Bahnsen around the brand’s Copenhagen expansion in 2019, with the collaboration developing over time into this release. Launching May 21st, 2026, and will be available at select UNIQLO stores in Canada and online.
