Hot on the heels of Simone Rocha’s menswear debut, Pitti Immagine is continuing to build momentum for its upcoming summer edition, with DSM Kei Ninomiya confirmed as Guest Designer for Pitti Uomo 110.
Set to take place in Florence from June 16–19, 2026, the milestone edition is shaping up to spotlight a more diverse and experimental vision of menswear. Ninomiya, the Japanese designer behind Noir Kei Ninomiya under the Comme des Garçons umbrella, will bring the spirit of Dover Street Market’s first in-house label to the historic event.
During the fair, DSM Kei Ninomiya will unveil its Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection through a runway presentation, offering a shift from the designer’s typically complex, highly conceptual constructions. This project leans into a more inclusive, ageless, and genderless wardrobe, one designed to resonate with a broader, more transversal audience while maintaining his distinct creative voice.
“Going to Florence, I felt a sense of both its historic, solemn side and its open, welcoming atmosphere,” Ninomiya said in a statement. “Pitti Uomo is an historic event that supports creativity… I am honoured to have been given this opportunity.”
With both Simone Rocha and DSM Kei Ninomiya now on the calendar, Pitti Uomo 110 is reinforcing its role as a platform not just for heritage tailoring, but for new narratives in contemporary fashion, where fluidity, inclusivity, and creative freedom take center stage.
