adidas is bringing the Trefoil back to the World Cup stage for the first time in 36 years, unveiling its FIFA World Cup 2026™ away kits with a clear nod to 90s-era design. Revealed in Toronto on March 20, the collection covers all 25 partner federations, including 13 nations already qualified, blending classic tournament aesthetics like geometric patterns and stylized lines with a more modern, easy-to-wear feel.
Each jersey draws on national identity, referencing landscapes, art, architecture, and cultural symbols without overcomplicating things. The Trefoil lands on the right chest as a subtle reset, tying the collection back to adidas’ long-standing influence across both football and street culture.

Performance is still front of mind. The kits are built for varying conditions, using lightweight jacquard fabrics, engineered stretch materials and CLIMACOOL+ tech to help manage heat and airflow.
Some of the standout designs lean into that mix of heritage and detail. Argentina features swirling blue graphics inspired by traditional motifs, Germany reworks archival chevrons into a layered pattern, and Italy takes cues from classic tailoring through textured fabric treatments. Japan, Mexico and Spain each bring their own perspective through colour, symbolism and historical references.
All adidas FIFA World Cup 2026™ away kits are available now through adidas retail, select partners and online at adidas.com and adidas.ca.
