To mark its 40th anniversary, Jacob & Co. is going all in on brilliance, literally. The brand has introduced the Angel Cut, a newly patented diamond cut developed in-house over two years, debuting on its latest high jewelry timepiece: the Billionaire Double Tourbillon Angel Cut.

Named after founder Jacob Arabo’s wife, Angela, the Angel Cut is as personal as it is technical. Designed with 37 facets, a nod to their 37 years of marriage, the cut rethinks how rectangular diamonds interact with light. By combining a lozenge-shaped table with a stepped rectangular outline, it maximizes brilliance and minimizes light loss, creating a more even, continuous glow across each stone.

This innovation takes center stage on the Billionaire Double Tourbillon Angel Cut. Housed in a bold 54mm x 41mm 18K white gold case, the watch is set with 98 Angel Cut diamonds totaling over 51 carats. The dial pushes things even further, invisibly set with additional Angel Cut and baguette diamonds that frame twin tourbillon apertures. Altogether, the piece features nearly 300 white diamonds, weighing in at approximately 79 carats.

Underneath all that shine sits the JCAM50 caliber, a hand-wound movement made up of 460 components. Two one-minute flying tourbillons are positioned at 12 and 6 o’clock, creating both visual symmetry and mechanical balance beneath the fully pavé dial. The watch is finished with a blue alligator leather strap and a diamond-set deployment buckle, alongside a 72-hour power reserve and water resistance up to 30 meters.

As expected, exclusivity is part of the package. Limited to just 18 pieces worldwide, the Billionaire Double Tourbillon Angel Cut represents a new chapter for Jacob & Co.—one that merges high jewelry innovation with the technical precision of haute horlogerie.
