Fresh off a playful The Devil Wears Prada spoof at the Academy Awards featuring Anna Wintour and Anne Hathaway, a brand-new trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has arrived, offering another glimpse at the long-awaited sequel.

The latest preview confirms the return of the franchise’s core cast, with Meryl Streep once again stepping into the role of formidable editor Miranda Priestly, joined by Hathaway as former assistant Andy Sachs, Emily Blunt as the ever-ambitious Emily Charlton, and Stanley Tucci as Runway’s trusted fashion insider Nigel. The new footage teases a tense reunion between Miranda and Andy, hinting that their dynamic remains as icy and entertaining as ever.

While the 2006 original followed Andy’s chaotic introduction to the fashion industry, the sequel shifts its focus to a dramatically changed media landscape. The story reportedly sees Miranda grappling with the decline of traditional publishing, while Emily has risen through the ranks to become a powerful figure controlling major luxury advertising budgets, setting up a new power struggle within the fashion world.

The film also expands the Runway universe with additional cast members including Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, and Simone Ashley. Behind the scenes, director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, the creative team responsible for the original film return to helm the sequel.
