For Fall Winter 26/27 Borsalino celebrated their long history of craftsmanship, turning centuries of expertise into a contemporary statement. As expected from the oldest Italian luxury hat manufacturer the collection highlights how precise tailoring, measured design, and thoughtful materials can transform tradition into modern style. The presentation featured a hands on look at their artisans from their Alessandria atelier in action putting the fine finishing details on their hats.
Satin, georgette, and grosgrain ribbons reinterpreted the tailor’s measuring tape as a visual motif, weaving through crowns and brims like a signature mark of artisan skill. Leather is treated as a living material, shaped with care, and enhanced with subtle contrasts, tri-color designs, and refined accents. Knitfelt and 3D-extruded logos reinforced Borsalino’s ongoing technical innovation while remaining rooted in its heritage.
The men’s range emphasized classic tailoring with Oxford Blue, Grey Flannel, White Shirt, and Black Tie, accented by hand-stitching, saddle stitch, and supple leathers. While for women, dramatic touches like feathers, micro-crystals, flowing georgette, and bold colors like Purple Lipstick, Verde Cappero, and Giallo Cedro brought energy to couture-inspired silhouettes. A new removable leather strap detail has been added, inspiring us to imagine new ways to wear and carry the hat when you feel compelled to take it off. Iconic styles such as Sophie and Lucille were updated with new shapes, finishes, and shades, marrying versatility with timeless design.
From the Antica Casa crest reimagined through contemporary graphics to carefully executed detailing in every piece, Borsalino FW 26/27 showed that heritage is more than history, it’s a living practice, passed from hand to hand, refined season after season.
