With a splashy, archive-driven set that doubled as an immersive art installation, Diesel opened its Fall Winter 2026 show at Milan Fashion Week, surrounding the runway with decades of memorabilia displayed like evidence of nearly fifty years of Successful Living, the brand’s philosophy and creative code.
The show transformed Diesel’s vault into a vivid living record of the brand’s evolution, presenting around 50,000 pieces of archival memorabilia dating back to 1978. Displayed under bright lights and drawn from thousands of categories, the installation celebrated Diesel’s past, present, and future while underscoring a commitment to reuse and transformation that echoed throughout the collection itself.
Designed for every moment and every situation, Diesel’s Fall Winter 2026 offering embraces disruption with intention. Pieces are twisted, wrapped, creased, and worn in, as if pulled from the floor after the best party ever.
“This collection is about waking up in a place, with no idea what happened last night, and you are the most glorious person ever. When you sneak away from the hotel room of the person who you don’t even know, you are truly at your best. These are super-wearable pieces for successful living, the essence of Diesel” – Glenn Martens
Denim is baked with exaggerated permanent creases, fabrics appear boiled, rucked up, treated with resin for lasting wear or impossibly put together, while jerseys and knits are precisely constructed to appear casually thrown on. Unlined alpaca and wool coats remain unstructured, felted tailoring is crafted from production scraps and industrial leftovers, and pants are reworked with unexpected functionality. Throughout, textures and colours clash in the best way possible, from painted leather to flocked denim to riotous velvet draping.
Accessories extend experimentation with the new D-One bag debuting, alongside refreshed iterations of the Dome and 1DR bags. Footwear takes on a strong sculptural profile and eyewear introduces new D-coded silhouettes, while jewellery and watches blend ornament with utility, including a debut of the brands first unisex watch.
This season reinforces Diesel’s belief in experimentation without regret, owning the aftermath, living in the moment, and wearing the evidence with full on confidence.
