Public School New York made a decisive return to the New York Fashion Week schedule this February, ending a seven-year hiatus with its Fall-Winter 2026 collection, Everything Is Now. Founded by Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the New York-rooted label reclaimed its place with the same restrained confidence that earned it CFDA and Vogue Fashion Fund recognition. Known for balancing street sensibility with sharp tailoring, the collection leaned into muted, androgynous silhouettes and pared-down construction, reinforcing the brand’s core identity rather than reinventing it.

Standout moments came through precise outerwear and relaxed tailoring that emphasized proportion and wearability. Bombers and structured layers carried a quiet authority, reflecting the designers’ continued focus on clarity and control. The return also doubled as a platform for new footwear, including fresh collaborations with Nike. Their take on the Air Max Goadome reframed the rugged boot through Public School’s tailored lens, while new Air Jordan 15 styles extended the brand’s ongoing relationship with Jordan, transforming the performance silhouette into something more architectural and considered. The Jordan collaboration, in particular, underscored Public School’s ability to bridge technical sport design with fashion, preserving the integrity of the original while elevating it to a more refined context.

Presented as part of the February New York Fashion Week calendar, the show marked more than a comeback. It was a reminder of Public School’s role in defining a distinctly New York approach to modern dressing, where tailoring, utility, and cultural awareness move in lockstep.
